(Privacy Notice for Students, Parents, and Guarantors Data Processing Notification)

The Panyapiwat Technological College (“the College”) acknowledges the importance of your personal data provided to the College with trust. The College is committed to complying with the Personal Data Protection Act of 2019 to ensure the rights of individuals are protected regarding the collection, usage, and disclosure (processing) of personal data. This document aims to inform you about how the College collects, uses, and discloses your personal data. The College requests that you please read this document to be informed and understand the purposes for which the College has collected, used, and disclosed your personal data.

  • Purpose of Data Processing : The College collects your personal data for the purpose of student enrollment, issuing scholarship agreements, preparing internship documents, creating student ID cards, generating graduation documents, and other necessary activities related to educational management, teaching, and practical experience according to the decentralized academic system. This includes educational and instructional management, curriculum development research analysis, school standard management, internship score processing, risk management, internal audits, security measures, alumni registration, and the disclosure or transfer of personal data in accordance with the law.
  • Data Processing : The College processes your personal data based on the following grounds:
    • Contract : In the process of enrollment, scholarship agreements, guarantee agreements, vocational training, internship, as well as activities essential to teaching and learning, you are required to provide personal information as evidence or necessary details for contractual obligations. Failure to provide such personal information may have consequences and impact the ability to execute the contracts effectively.
    • Consent : The College may use your personal data for processing purposes such as analyzing your interests, advertising and promoting courses or direct benefits to you, and disclosing your personal data to external parties for the aforementioned purposes. If you wish to withdraw your consent, you can contact the College and make your request as outlined in Section 4.
    • Legitimate Interest : The College may use your personal data for processing in the legitimate interest, such as internal management and reporting within the College, research analysis for curriculum development, educational management standards, internship evaluation, risk management, internal auditing, security measures, alumni registration, and disclosure to affiliated educational institutions or according to the terms of memoranda of understanding (MOU) entered into with the College.
    • Legal Obligation : The College may use your personal data for processing to comply with legal obligations such as the Private School Act B.E. 2550 (2007), the National Education Act B.E. 2542 (1999), the Ministry of Education’s Announcement on National Vocational Education Standards B.E. 2561 (2018), the Vocational Education Management Regulations B.E. 2557 (2014), and the Guidelines for Implementing Joint Curriculum Management of Vocational Education and High School Education (Dual Education) according to the Manual for the Operation of Joint Curriculum Management of Vocational Education and High School Education (Dual Education) as per the regulations of the Office of the Vocational Education Commission on the Standards for Managing the Vocational Education System B.E. 2557 (2014), and the Management of Joint Curriculum of Vocational Education and High School Education (Dual Education).

Type/Category of Personal Data

  1. Personal information of students 
    Full name, nickname, age, date of birth, place of birth, address, national ID number, ethnicity, nationality, religion, weight, height, photograph, health information, bank account number, educational and work history, results of admission interviews, records of conversations regarding questions and issues of students.
  2. Personal information of the guardian
    Name-Surname, Father’s Name, Mother’s Name, Address, Phone Number, Occupation, Income, Marital Status.
  3. Personal information of the guarantor and spouse
    Name-Surname, Age, Address, Phone number,
    Occupation, Position, Workplace, Income, National ID number

Duration of Collection

  • In the event that your application for further studies is not successful, the college will retain your personal information for a period not exceeding 2 years. This is done to consider allocating reserved quotas for future enrollment opportunities.
  • In the case of passing the consideration and entering into a contract as a student in college, the college collects personal information of the students, parents, guarantors, and spouses throughout the period of being a student, in accordance with the regulations of the student registration office as per the ministry’s regulations, and as stipulated in the agreement with the company.
    Moreover, once the aforementioned period has elapsed, the college will delete or make the personal information unidentifiable.

The college may disclose your personal information to companies within the CP All Public Company Limited group, companies within the Charoen Pokphand Products Limited group, companies within the Charoen Pokphand Foods Limited group, companies within the True Corporation Limited group, companies within the Ascend Group Limited group, educational institutions within the network, or as per agreements and Memoranda of Understanding (MOU). This includes companies or individuals providing scholarship funding, employers under internship agreements, banks involved in student card issuance, both internal and external auditors, companies appointed to process personal data, and government agencies authorized to request personal information, such as the Ministry of Education, the Office of the Vocational Education Commission, the National Police Bureau, the Public Prosecutor’s Office, the Court, or state officials with the authority to request personal information, such as investigators or public prosecutors.

You have the right to: (1) the right to withdraw consent for the university to process your personal data, (2) the right to access and obtain copies of your personal data collected, used, and disclosed by the university, (3) the right to request the transfer of your personal data, (4) the right to object to the processing of your personal data, (5) the right to request the deletion, destruction, or anonymization of your personal data that cannot be identified, (6) the right to suspend the use of your personal data, (7) the right to request the correction of your personal data to be accurate, current, and complete, and (8) the right to file a complaint if you believe that the university or its officials or representatives have violated your rights under the Personal Data Protection Act B.E. 2562 (2019).

Any request to exercise your rights as mentioned above must be in writing or in the electronic format provided by the university. The university will make its best efforts to process the request within a reasonable timeframe, not exceeding the legal limit. The university will comply with legal requirements regarding your rights as a data owner.

Please note that there may be limitations on some of your rights, and the university will inform you if it cannot fulfill your request, in accordance with the provisions of the Personal Data Protection Act B.E. 2562 (2019).

In exercising these rights, the university reserves the right to charge any necessary and related service fees for processing your personal data as requested.

In accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act B.E. 2562 (2019), this version of the Personal Data Processing Notification Document (Privacy Notice) may undergo periodic revisions. The college will display the current version on its website or at the college premises.

If you find that the processing of your personal data does not comply with the Personal Data Protection Act B.E. 2562, you have the right to file a complaint with the Office of the Personal Data Protection Commission. This Privacy Notice document shall come into effect on the same day as the enactment of the Personal Data Protection Act B.E. 2562 (2019) and shall apply in its entirety.
