Mechatronics and Robotics
High Vocational Certificate (High Voc.)
Importance of the Program
Mechatronics and Robotics
The branch of study in Mechatronics and Robotics focuses on developing the quality of learners in the areas of thinking, analysis, and AI design, also known as artificial intelligence. It encompasses knowledge from all branches of engineering sciences, directly applicable to industrial factory settings, which serve as the foundation for direct engineering work. Learners also have the opportunity to further their studies at a higher level, focusing on production management in industrial factories as well as the development of the potential of machinery in factories, including factory robots or Intelligent Systems. Mechanical maintenance engineers, designers, or machinery control managers ensure maximum efficiency in machinery operation. The curriculum begins with basic knowledge of electrical circuits, control circuit design, and factory machinery control, extending to the design of heavy machinery and machinery structures, and progresses to innovative product design education.
Characteristics of Learners:
• Completion of secondary education (Mathayom 3 or 6, or equivalent).Well-behaved, honest, and ethical.
• Well-behaved, honest, and ethical.
• Physically fit for learning without hindrance.
• Have a permanent residence with proof of address, either through household registration or government documentation.
• Respectful towards the nation, religion, and monarchy with a pure heart.
• Have a positive attitude towards democratic governance under the monarchy’s constitutional rule.
• For those entering vocational education on the day of signing the professional apprenticeship contract, must be at least 17 years old and have the intention to undergo vocational training in the chosen field of study.
